Clic
meeting 2008
The first
international Clic meeting
will be held in Castelló
(Valencia, Spain) on saturday April
5th, 2008.
It will be a great opportunity to meet colleagues and friends that make
the Clic community possible, and to share experiences about education
and ICT. The registration
form for the event and related social activities is
already open until March 25th.
The event has limited attendance, so don't leave it for the last minute!

JClic in Debian
The Debian GNU/Linux
distribution has since the beggining of 2008 a jclic package
in the Contrib
repositoire. Debian is the base for many other distributions like
Ubuntu, Edubuntu and most of the educational GNU/Linux editions used in
Spain. We are also working with the Linkat
project to integrate JClic in OpenSuse. New
platform for translating JClic
JClic has a new space
in the Launchpad
projects platform, that allows to easily translate free software into
different languages. The platform has already
been
used to translate JClic into Greek. If you want more information about

In this section we will introduce new additions to the
clicZone. For a detailed description of the activity packages, click on
the titles.
- Hobbies
and interests
This is a project of activities created to learn English vocabulary
related to the spare time. The actvities are addressed to secondary
education, created by Mª. Eva Solera.
- Los
cuerpos geométricos
Project of activities created by José Antonio
Sánchez about geometry in primary education. The project is
based on a book by SM Publishing house.
- El
Portfolio Europeo de las Lenguas
Project of activities that we can find in Basque and in Spanish to
introduce the project of the European Language Portfolio. The
activities are addressed to secondary education. The author of the
activities is Iñaki Mundiñano.

about catalan basic pronounciation. The project is oriented to
secondary education.

education about the difference between collective sports and individual
sports.

Project of activities related with nature valid as support of the
pupil's workbook to work with several proposals of itinearies of the
enviroment. This project has been sent by Juli Mas.

These activities created by Pedro Pérez, about the roman
thermal baths in Sant Boi de Llobregat, are addressed to primary
education.

Project of activities about Barcino, Barcelona in the roman age. Joan
Puig and Caridad Terrado have sent this project to explain the city in
that time.

Anna Garcia sends us this project of activities addressed to
kindergarden about the activities at the racó de
pensar (thinking corner).

Maria Jose Arriba is the author of this project of actitivies to pupils
with a reading and writing handicap. Throuhgout the activities they
learn to read and write words with the consonants: l, p, m,
s, n.

kindergarden. It's been prepared as a working complement for the
projects performed at the classroom.
